American Veteran Advocates (AVA) is not an accredited VA representative, attorney, or organization. We do not submit claims on behalf of veterans or speak to the VA on your behalf. Our role is to provide coaching, support, and guidance based on our experience navigating the VA system.
We assist by helping you:
- Prepare lay and buddy statements
- Understand what documentation may be useful
- Learn how to navigate VA.gov to submit your claim
- Answer questions about the claims process
- Walk you step-by-step through submitting your claim on your own, even over the phone or Zoom if needed
While you may choose to share your screen or follow our instructions while submitting your claim, you are the one officially submitting it, and all final decisions are your responsibility. This keeps you in full control and ensures we remain in compliance with VA guidelines.
